Terms of Service
Terms of Service. Effective May 8, 2026.
These terms govern membership and use of cashvalues.org and any service operated by Church of American Strength & Hope (CASH). Membership is voluntary and revocable. Plain language preferred.
§ 1 · Who we are
Church of American Strength & Hope is a 501(c)(3) religious nonprofit corporation organized in South Carolina. EIN 41-4115277. Principal office: 127 University Drive, Ladson, SC 29456.
§ 2 · Membership
2.1 Two tiers
CASH offers two membership tiers: a free CASH Member tier and a paid Services Membership ($8/month). Tier definitions, benefits, and gating are described on the /join page. CASH may modify tier benefits with reasonable notice.
2.2 Eligibility
Services Membership requires age 18 or over and a current South Carolina address. Membership of any kind requires submission of accurate name, email, and date of birth, and acceptance of these Terms.
2.3 Termination
You may end your membership at any time by writing to preacherb@cashvalues.org or by canceling the Square subscription where applicable. CASH may revoke membership for conduct contrary to these Terms, the CASHvalues, or church doctrine, with written explanation when practical.
§ 3 · The CASHvalues
Members commit to live in the direction of the four CASHvalues: Character, Accountability, Stewardship, and Honor. Failing them is part of being human; walking back to them is the work. CASH does not guarantee perfection of practice and no member is removed for ordinary human shortcoming.
§ 4 · Donations and the Weekly Draw
4.1 Donations
All donations are voluntary. Donations are non-refundable except where required by law. Receipts are issued by Square at the time of charge.
4.2 Weekly Community Draw
Entries to the Weekly Community Draw are issued only to Services Members in good standing under SC §33-57-120(B)(2)(b) in acknowledgment of a $5 donation. Total proceeds per drawing shall not exceed $950. The drawing is held Friday at 6:00 PM on Church premises with two witnesses; one witness must be a director or officer.
§ 5 · Pastoral counseling
Pastoral counseling at CASH is religious ministry under First Amendment protections. It is not clinical psychotherapy, medical treatment, or psychiatric diagnosis. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 first. Pastoral notes are pastor-only and are not released except as required by law.
§ 6 · The Workshop and member listings
CASH-produced items in CASHvalued Creations are sold at cost-recovery. Member listings are published by individual members; transactions occur off-platform between buyer and seller. CASH is not party to member-listing transactions and is not responsible for their fulfillment, quality, or warranty.
§ 7 · Privacy summary
We collect only what we need to operate: name, email, phone (optional), date of birth, and SC address for membership; submission contents for service intakes; payment metadata via Square (we never see card numbers). We do not sell or share data with third parties for marketing. We use Supabase for the database, Firebase Hosting for the website, Square for payments, and Resend for transactional email. You may request export or deletion of your data by writing to preacherb@cashvalues.org.
§ 8 · Conduct
Members agree to treat staff, pastors, and other members with the dignity of image-bearers. CASH may remove content, restrict service access, or revoke membership for harassment, threats, illegal conduct, or repeated misuse of services. Disputes are resolved first by pastoral conversation, then by a member of the board.
§ 9 · Intellectual property
The CASH name, logo, doctrine, and original written and visual works on cashvalues.org are the property of Church of American Strength & Hope. Members may quote and share for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution. Pastor Bryan Korth's separately published research works are released through FBDM Lab and onemechanism.org.
§ 10 · Limitation of liability
The website and services are provided as-is. CASH is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
§ 11 · Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute is venued in the courts of Berkeley County, SC.
§ 12 · Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on cashvalues.org and via email to the address on file. Continued use after the effective date of an update is acceptance of the change.

Legal
Community Membership is a religious and charitable affiliation with Church of American Strength & Hope and does not confer corporate voting rights under the South Carolina Nonprofit Corporation Act. Dues are non-refundable.
